WESTERMANN - CONN. '63' (on the upper side); stamped again with the artist's signature, inscribed and titled '1. TITLED: ROSEBUD. A SELF PORTRAIT. THIS IS A NICKNAME MY LITTLE WIFE GAVE ME. 2. MADE OF DOUGLAS FIR STAIR TREADS. AND QUARTER INCH PLATE GLASS MIRROR. 3. THE FINISH IS VALSPAR & PASTE MINWAX. MANY COATS. BUFF OCCASIONALLY. 4. THIS USE OF MIRRORS IS MY OWN INVENTION. 5.
